Vacation time!

I just booked my first vacation in three years as I am staring at the snow out the window. It was ten before that! I am taking the family to Salter Path on Emerald Island in North Carolina. Got a beachfront condo for a week of fun, sun, booze, and cigars. This is where we went three years ago. Here is the view from my deck.

So, while we are all freezing, where is everyone else headed this year?
 
Wow that looks like an awesome time!! I am jealous. I don't have anything planned yet, except for the Padron event in a month! :D

Las Vegas around June or July, and the family and i are taking the train to the Grand Canyon, after we winning at the tables. :D I'm also making plans for tha Outlaw event in May. :thumbs:
 
I'm heading down to Atlanta with my brother at the end of May to watch some baseball and do some golfing. It will be the first time I've gone anywhere without the wife and kid since I got married so I hope I don't get in too much trouble.
 
Looks great! Back when I was stationed in NC, I used to stay the occasional weekend in or around Nags Head. I'm not really a beach person but I like the Outer Banks.
 
My father and I are going fishing for a week in mid-June at Northern Rockies Lodge in British Columbia. It should be great - we get flown by floatplane to a different lake each day. I anticipate much smoking will also take place. :whistling:

That reminds me, anyone here know if the duty-free ISOM's in the Vancouver airport are any good? I may have to stop in and take a few (or more) up north for the trip...

CPHerf in Vegas will be our first vacation of the year.

Next year, however, I will have my first sabbatical from work and WOOOOHOOOO the trouble me and Ms. B.B.S. will get into with three months off....!!

Vacation will be all summer long... right here in AK! Too much to see and do (as usual) to leave for the summer. Now late fall and winter? WHOLE 'nother story!! Someplace warm, sunny and sandy where english is not the main language.

B.B.S. - 3 MONTHS off? Whoa... what can you do... where can ya go in that kinda timeframe? :whistling:
 
Heading to the DR at the end of the month, then a week after we get back, We are heading to KC for the Padron event. Looking forward to both trips..
 
oh yeah.. Padron event at Outlaw! guess that could be a vacation... sicne the wife is not going :laugh:
 
New York in August (US Open, Broadway show, etc.) and then Nassau, Bahamas Thanksgiving week.

Also planning a big trip to Southern France/Monte Carlo in May 2008. :thumbs:

We're taking the kids down to Jamaica for a week later this month. Then a week after we get back my wife and I are heading to San Diego for a few days without the kids. Then later this summer we're taking a trip out to western Colorado, although that one is less vacation, in fact it's permanent!
 
Well I'm heading out to Vegas for a weekend sometime this month, trying to make arrangements to make the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of May, and heading to Key West at the end of June for a few days, but that's all I have planned for the summer so far...
 
Paducah, KY in May, maybe to the Outlaw in May, Philly in June, Windsor in July, maybe L.A. in July, Hedonism III Jamaica in October...... probaboy a few St. Louis and Chicago trips throughout the summer too...
