I crashed my motorcycle racing this weekend

I'm sorry to hear about your injuries, but like you said it could of been worse.

Take care of yourself and heal up.

That is too bad, I hope you recover quickly and the bike gets up and running without too much trouble. On the flip side at least it happened on the track and not the street where things often turn out worse

Sorry about that bro, Hope someone has video so you can piece it together. Sounds like some big decisions to be made. Step back smoke a few good cigars, then make your plan, start any necessary action. Getting lost in the rebound from an injury is very possible, it makes getting back to some normal semblance of living take too long.

Damn hope ya get better, I totalled mine three years ago and still don't know what happened. As far as memory goes, a good diving accident at 200 feet below screwed my short term memory up for a few years. As far as slowing down, I wouldn't. But that just runs in my family. Hope ya get to feeling better...

So true brother....so true....

ps typing one handed sucks!

E

Now you got to really take care of the good hand 'cause it's your cigar hand too.

Godspeed on the recovery. Glad to hear it wasn't worse.

Fergit the cigar hand (you can hold that in any hand) , if that is Eric's BBQ'in hand we are all f***ed. Where else can a bunch of schmucks like us get such great BBQ if not for Hillbilly. Dude give up the bikes our smoke addiction (both lit and cooked) could not afford a loss if that magnitude.

Ohh yeah plus your kids will need a father at least until there college tuition is paid, and then you become immediately disposable as they will no more than you and be smarter, well until they hit their 30's and then they will realize how smart you really where....lol

As my father once said, "Avenge yourself, live long enough to become a problem to your children"..... :sign:

Sorry to hear about the wreck. Does this put you out of commision at work? Get well soon!

Tough luck Erik, but as everyone else, glad to hear you're OK. Bikes can be replaced, you can't.

One of the reasons I sold the TLR was I was starting to get too much of a rush from the speed at Gratton. The bike was already over my skill level, but knew that just a little cash would put it wayyyyyyyyy overboard for me. As much as I hate to say it (and I know ytou don't want to read it) but that's a damned dangerous hobby you got there, not to mention an expensive one. Maybe it's time to rethink?
