I have a few of Don Pepin's blends in my box, but this is the first one I've smoked. Picked it up from Al's place Saturday and thought I would take it with me to work today. Well I started in on it and it was great! This was the first time I cut the cap and lifted it off, rather than cutting the filler too. Nice construction and aroma, smoked like a champ. Burned beautifully, which was refreshing (my smokes are prone to tunneling-my fault I'm certain). Full flavor, but not overpowering. I smoked it so close I could barely hold it. I'm sure someone saw me and thought I crammed a White Owl full of skunk weed.

I'm really looking forward to my other Pepin smokes now.

Al, if you're reading this, save me one of those Blue Label Lanceros; I'll be in this weekend.

Thanks for letting me vent my excitement.

Ha Ha... You're screwed now..

I know the feeling bro. I popped my cherry last weds with a Tat Regio's it was incredible with only 3 months of age. I have 7 more all different sizes including both Cojonu's (2003 and 2006). Im looking forward to meeting Pepin june 23rd!!! He is truly an artist......

I smoked my first tatuaje the other night, was a noella.. I haven't smoked much, but this is definitely my #1 cigar at this point in time!

It was a Brown Label Petite. I have an Unico in my box but I picked up the smaller one so I could smoke it while working (last time I brought a longer smoke I got called away and when I returned it was cold and it sucked).

I hadn't smoked Pepin before 'cause I thought it would be wasted on my noob palette. But hey, I can't wait forever.

I've still got a Tatuaje Havana VI, the Unico, and a Rey de los Habanos. I had a Blue Label but gifted it to my local jeweler. I'll remedy that this weekend.

Now you've really done it. IMHO - Pete's blends are the best out of the Pepin stable. I just can't seem to find the satisfaction in any of the other Pepin cigars than I do with Pete's originals.

I have yet to smoke a Tat, but all these responses sure have me wanting to grab some! Does it make you guys wonder how sucha young guy can make such terrific cigars? I always thought skill came with age....apparently, not always! Lookin forward to picking some up.

Gotta love them Tats.

One word of caution- do not smoke them out in the cold. I had my first one when it was 20 degrees outside. I was not very impressed. Tried another indoors and it was a fantastic smoke.
