Picked some up Whiskers Blake last night. More sweet than I thought it would be but I enjoyed it. Plume, Raisin, Caramel, a unique blend of flavors.

Now that it is opened, how long is it's shelf life? Will the fridge help extend it?

Thanks all for the recomendations. I will have to try a ruby next.

Great inexpensive port. One of my favorites and I like it better than the generic rubies or tawnies out there. It has a funky sort of earthiness that is distinctive and very enjoyable.

I have been told that Galway Pipe is another inexpensive port worth trying. Gotta get my hands on some. :D

You can store the Whiskers for a while, I like to keep mine in the refrigerator. It doesn't usually last that long in our house once opened anyways, but if it starts to taste off then dump it.

I bought a bottle of this Port today and I really like it!

Great blend of flavors and goes great with a cigar. PetersCreek and I cracked open the bottle at the cigar shop and enjoyed a first taste together.

For the price and the great taste, this one is a winner.

Seth,

Have you tried JONESY Port? It is the least sweet I've found of the "value" priced ports. Not near as complex as the Whiskers, but tolerable. YMMV
