Hey,

Could be worse...could be Roxette. ;)

Wilkey

BTW, digging that over the air all music video channel, The Tube.
...he's got the look....

In addition to "The Tube", I have been listening to Pandora at work. What a great resource; it's free with a registration, and I've been discovering new (to me) music all the time. That, and Amazon's "Buy it used" disk selection has been pretty cool. My tastes in music are very diverse; I love good, hard, rock and roll....and most everything else. I just ordered from Amazon:

- Eve6 - Horrorscope
- Conjure One - Extraordinary Ways
- Jet - Get Born

...been listening to some techno lately (go figure). Got a couple of Crystal Method CD's and one from In Strict Confidence. Yes, it's weird stuff but I really dig it. When my 20 year old son and I commute to work, I usually have cooler music to listen to than he does....

Cheers, folks - B.B.S.

If you're looking for some new techno to toss in the mix, check underworld , Paul Oakenfold, Young American Primitive (not the early american gospel stuff, thats another ball o wax) , Perfume Tree, and of course, the Orb.

Bought a bunch of newish release stuff lately:

Manowar - Gods of War
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos
Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Megadeth - United Abominations
Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night

Just catching up on some of my favorite's latest releases. Yes, I am an old school metalhead.

Megadeth recently took on a HOT singer, doesn't quite sound like Megadeth anymore from what I've heard though..

I keep thinking of new bands I wanted to list, so instead I've copied the folder names of all my music, I apologize for the length (that's what SHE said, er, he.. uhh.. wait.)

Bought my wife the new John Mayer CD and I'll admit I enjoy listening to it.

Enjoying Amy Winehouse as well.

Dizmas - song This One (Acoustic)
Pillar
KJ 52
Toby Mac
Superchick
Stellar Kart
Reliant K

Softer Christian Music:

Nicole Nordeman - Wided Eyed CD Awesome!!
Jackie Valesquez
Mercy Me
Jody McBrayer
Casting Crowns
Salvador
Stacy Orico

Newsboys

Edited to add my favorite jazz singer: Michael Buble'

Also I listen to Classic Rock when Mike's in the car

and straight from Christian rock to:

Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero

I picked it up today expecting to be disappointed, given that most of the lame public is calling this the rock album of the year. I'm not sure about that, the new Arcade Fire is pretty good, but ....

The new White Stripes just got the boot, this is a much better album. One man's opinion of course.

Of course, it's all fodder until Zach and Rage get back into the studio and put an M-80 up under everyone's ass.

Currently I'm in a verrrry big Roger Waters mode. Pulled out Pros and Cons and gave it a spin yesterday morning. Before that, his Flickering Flame compilation. Some other ROIOs (Darien Lake 8/99 and NYC 9/87 soundboard). Took a slight detour and listened to a personal CD-R best of by Bob Welch, specifically his time with Fleetwood Mac.

My listening habits are rotating around the groups I'll be seeing in concert in the coming months, including Rush (on my birthday this coming Wednesday), The Police, and Roger Waters.

Darren

As of late I have been listening to a lot of reggae music... It always seems to put me in a good mood.

Bob Marley
Stephen Marley
Damian "Junior Gong" Marley
Groundation
Elan
Michael Franti
Anthony B.
Issy Vibe
Buju Banton
and many others...

Well, this is going to make me sound like a complete and perfect dork....but I'm okay with that. Really.

I've been listening to a lot of karaoke. There. I've said it. It's out in the open.

Lately, I've been listening to the likes of Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan, et al...usually on the truck radio during my commute. Later, I download the CD+G versions I'm interested in, to try at home. If I like how they fit me, I burn 'em to CD so I'll always have that version when I go out. I'm not just into country, though. I'm a little eclectic in my choices...The Penguins, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, even Weird Al Yankovic. Hell, I've got a disc full of Neil Diamond, too.

Not exactly in the spirit of the thread, I know....but that's me.

Def Leppard - Pyromania

Not willing to let go...

McK

I love Def Leppard...saw them for the 2nd time a few months ago with Journey....*drool*

Melly
I had tickets for that tour also but gave them up to a co-worker...I saw some live footage from Live8 in Philly and thought they didn't sound so good. I think age is getting the best of Joe Elliott's voice.

Must see Mellie! Check it out!
