It has indeed been a long, hot, dumbass-filled summer and my patience has worn thing. I'm just glad we have younger, more energetic members who are ready to give a kick to the nuts when it's well deserved.

Prior to the most recent revelations about that scott guy, his threads hadn't really measured up to the standards needed for inclusion on "the list." But it certainly looks like he's headed there now.

I mainly read around when I'm on CF. It never seemed to be a bad place, just different. For example, it seems a little frowned upon to post that you are going to sell something on CP, only to have the post be a group of guys passing inside jokes that are seriously 'not funny' to outsiders looking in. On CF though, hell, that's like the way of the walk. Some of those guys (I'm guessing) go waaaaaaaay back.

That's complete nonsense. Maybe you should just "read around" here too.

Gotta agree with Neal. That's completely off the mark and misrepresents all the recent events that have transpired here in the BST forum. The guys here who have kept an eye on this forum have fought the good fight and this totally discounts their honorable intentions and their vigilance.

Allow me to reword. I've never seen a post on CP where the title indicates a sale, ie Opus O.R., and the post states "with a side of mayonnaise and banana bread." No Opus for sale, just a thread that reads like the script of an British comedy. I've seen that a bunch on CF. Completely different crowds, that's my only point.

Plenty of good trades and sales to be had in both communities, don't get me wrong.

I like all the CF people that have come over here, especially Timmy, he's freakin' hilarious! :laugh:

I went to a herf once in Hartford last year at JimD's place and it was mostly CF people and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them were great guys and gals. :thumbs:

I just think it's kinda too bad that many of them will abandon us once CF gets back up and running. But who cares, it's great having them around in the meantime.
