Don't care to open the smoker every time I want a reading so a regular dial probe is not what I want. I've found plenty different ones online but was hoping someone may have some experience with one and can point out the pro's and con's.

Yea, that's what my research is telling me...... about a 20-30% failure rate on connectivity or just plain not accurate. I just pulled the trigger a few minutes ago on one of these here..... Thermopen. No more guessing on my briskets.![]()
