I've had a few of these and while a pretty good cigar, I just found out the MSRP on 'em. ???

I know taste and enjoyment of a smoke is quite the YMMV thing, but holy crap, does anyone find they're worth the price of a Super Premium??

I'm not sure any smoke is worth the price of those. In fact, I've never paid that much for any cigar (for myself anyway). I've gifted a few but never bought one for me.

I've had a couple of Silvios and they were very good. But I've never actually had to pay for one.

I've said this many times;
There are lots and lots of REALLY good cigars out there for $7 - $15 (MSRP), so it's just not necessary to spend $30+ for one. In fact, me being the cheap bastard I am, I'm more likely to be disappointed with a $30 cigar just because I expect so much from it.

....aaanndddd..... Most of those REALLY good cigars can be had online a lot cheaper than $7-$15.

Just my 2 cents.

When I was newer to cigars, there was a group buy on CP for the Coffin ones, $30/each. I learned my lesson on that one.

I agree, and personally, there's a bunch even lower than $7 that I'd prefer to those (again, a YMMV thing) but AF SS, Edge Missile, any Padron #000, etc. And that doesn't include the ones in the range you set like DCM #5, almost any VSG and many Opus' & Anejos when available.

I was not impressed. Thank god I did not pay for them. IMO, they are nothing special and even had a bit of an odd taste overtone. I can't remember if it was metallic or what but not something I'd pay $10 for much less $30.

Wilkey

I thought it was an ok cigar, I enjoyed it but it is not close to being worth the price. I have no idea what Perdomo is thinking when he sets prices for some of his cigars.
