Hey brothers, I have two boys that destroy everything LOL! I just got new suede couches and the little buggers have drawn on them with markers, spilled milk, blah blah blah. Just wanted to let everyone know that baby wipes remove all stains with no problems. Just something stupid to share and hopefully save a few pieces of furniture!!

Bet they don't take magic marker off a refrigerator!

In our house, it isn't so much the stain as the stink. Milk, soymilk, cheese, soup, anything that seeps into the carpet or upholstery unbeknown to us rewards with a special little aroma of its own. I've taken to hitting stains and spills with pet urine cleaner and it's simply amazing what it does.

I'll have to give the wipes a try though, we're presently on our second case of 1,232 Pampers wipes so we've got some to experiment with.

Thanks for the tip!

I too have noticed, from my bride showing me, that baby wipes worked where other methods failed.
Good stuff, and really not too expensive to keep around even after baby is grown.

edit to add:
Wilkey, I'll have to try that stuff on something besides dog urine.
I have a great Dane that is the most stubborn dog I've ever trained. Took 6 mos to house break him.

Used gallons of that stuff! Probably single handedly caused their stock price to go up at least a point.

My 3 Girls usually break their toys within 5 minutes of me buying it for them
I did start growing up til I was 25 :whistling:

Permanent or magic marker?

Just draw over it with a dry erase marker and it comes right up! You need to do it quickly though, a day or two later and you are out of luck.

When it comes to pet urine cleaner, Swissy turned me onto the best stuff there is - Nature's Miracle. The stuff cleans dog mistakes and just about any organic mess up unbelievably. It's really good stuff. We use the spray on spots and they make a laundry detergent that we wash the dog bedding with. We get ours from Dog.com but most any of the big chain stores carry it.

For preventive maintenance purposes, you could always hard wire your couch to your house's 220. That kept my two kids off our new couch. :D
