Best mild cigar you ever had

Gotta agree on the Davidoffs. Especially the milleniums. For something a little cheaper try the Fuente Don Carlos line. For dirt cheap but very good mild to medium I like the natural El Rey Del Mundo Rectangulares.

I haven't smoked many mild cigars, but of what I've tried I really enjoyed the Fonseca line, or the Rocky Patel Connecticut series. Or as many others have stated the Ashton line as well.

I am not a fan of mild cigars. However, The Avo 80th and the Daviddoff Millennium are pretty good cigars.

I had a good experience with Gurkha Connecticut Reserve, also with Alec Bradley Occidental Reserve quite recently.

i have smoked mainly mediums to full flavored cigars and haven't really experimented with any milds. whats some good ones?

If you mainly smoke medium to fulls, then if you're anything like me, you'll think smoking a mild cigar is like smoking hot air. Just one guys humble opinion...

That's quite a reversal. Usually the hot air is coming OUT of your mouth, SoulDog.

Geez... I wouldn't really use the word "mild" in any description of either of those cigars, but I would agree they are at least "pretty good"...

As a matter of fact - I'd say they were pretty doggone good cigars... No - they're damn fine cigars...

Oh crap - you know what I mean... :D

Hey George,

I opened up my desktop humi tonight that I seldom if ever look in and lo and behold, there was the AVO LE07 you gave me last year! :0 Even though I haven't added water to the humidifier in that humi in over a year, the cigar was perfect! (The humidity in my basement is never higher than 65% or lower than 55%) I'm smoking it now and WOW, age is a great thing with these cigars. I smoked that AVO LE08 I bought at Regency when you and I visited last week and you made a good move by NOT buying one of those..... For some reason, mine was all dried out, it could have been that it dried out on me within the last week but I'm not sure. Anyway, that LE07 is FANTASTIC, I'm smoking it right now.

I agree, I don't think I'd call a Davidoff Millennium or the fancy AVOs "mild" but they aren't "strong" either and yes, they are damn fine cigars and well worth the $$ IMO.

What he said.

Fine smokes, but not what I would consider mild.

...guess I've been smoking so many "tear your face off" cigars that anything that doesn't gets described as "mild"....

There ya go!!! It's always about your "frame of reference"!

LOL @ Devil Doc. He ain't operating on me!

I liked the Avo LE 07s too. ERDM Choix Supreme, HdM especially aged Double Coronas, Montesino.
Hade to admit it, but for a mild morning cigar I liked the Partagas 150s and even the 160s, just not worth the price

There ya go!!! Now THERE's a mild smoke for ya - be damned the price. But - I have found Davidoff Cuban's to be as mild and even pricier!!!

BTW - "Hate" is not spelled "Hade" - it's spelled "Hate"! :D

True, but they have alot more going on than the Partagas. Plus, there is something about smoking a legend that is not being replaced :)

I recently had a Gurkha Symphony, it was really creamy and a light-bodied, with a very clean finish. Out of all the mild cigars I've ever had, I would hands down recommend this one!
