Can anyone please recommend a couple of quality pipe brands. My best friend started smoking a pipe a couple months ago and I'd like to get him one for Christmas. I'm looking at under $200, hopefully in the $150 area. Thanks.

there is a plethora of nice pipes in that price range. Boswell has a really greay track record, but you could also look locally.

If it's a Christmas gift, I'd have to agree with psyktek about Mark Tinsky. He has a Christmas Pipe that he does a limited run of each year and dates so it adds a little extra meaning to the gift/pipe.
