I was in the waiting room waiting on my massage therapist today and picked up a magazine. After looking for the index for a moment, to find a picture of a hot chick on the front cover, I started counting......there were 38 pages of advertising BEFORE the index! WTF

I subscribed to SI for 20+ years and finally cancelled. For the last couple of years that I took it, the articles continued to shrink and the ads between the articles grew so that you were flipping three pages to continue reading the article. By the time I got to the continuation, I had forgotten what I was reading.

Magazines are ridiculous. They are solid ads, ESPECIALLY yuppy mags. I don't care how good Tommy Hilfiger smells in his new fragrance, or how ripped that dude from Abercrombie is, gimme the what I am hear to look at.

Cigar A is just as bad as the above mentioned mags, and without the hot chicks. At least in my homebrew magazine they are ads of things I wish I could buy.
