I will be there April 3rd - 5th and free pretty much every day after 4pm. I would of course love to hit the Alesmith and Stone breweries and smoke some cigars with you socal boys. Hopefully this gives you plenty of time to put in a request for a hall pass! :sign:

Just booked my travel for this trip. I will be there early Friday April 3rd leaving early Monday April 6th so we have the weekend to drink too much beer and smoke too many cigars... :laugh:

Would love to meet up. Stone Brewery and cigars do sound great. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town during that time...
 
Going to try and get a hall pass for the 4th. Would be cool to meet up at the brewery, either Stone or Alesmith. Nor sure if we can smoke cigars at the restaurant though, freaking southern california is so anti-smoking.

There is no smoking at the Stone Brewery Bistro / Gardens. We tried when they where building the new place...
but the powers that be said "No can do". I would like to get in on this get-together. Does anyone have any ideas of where to in S.D.?

Sounds like there are several brothers looking to get together so lets start figuring out what we want to do. I of course would love to enjoy some great beer while I am there and I am looking at several different places like Hamilton's Tavern, Toronado, Stone, Alesmith, etc. Does CA law allow smoking on bar/restaurant patios? What night works the best for everyone?
 
Alright boys and girls, I will be in town this weekend. What are we doing? Who has a hall pass?? :cool:
 
I might be able to join you guys if my depositions finish up this week.

As far as bars that allow smoking, they are pretty limited. I'm a big fan of The Field (Irish Pub) in the Gaslamp downtown - they have a small patio outside with a decent (but expensive) cigar store/lounge across the street. There are also a ton of other bars in the Gaslamp to hit up right around there :thumbs:
