I know most of us here aren't big fans of the stuff but it's the first thing I've ever seen locally around here. It's at the shop in the Old Market from 5pm to 8pm this coming Tuesday (4/21). The coffee infused one sounds interesting, not sure if it would translate into something smokable.

All kidding aside Kevin, the Liga Privada #9 remains one of my fav's, also the Château Real are pretty good sticks, however if it's a Drew Estates event look out...... I will bet it's all about the Acid.

Problem is you won't. the last Rep I talked to at a Drew event said they are real short on having enough to fill orders so you most likely won't see any Liga events or deals, just a bunch of bitches I think. :laugh:

+1 LP #9 is amazingly good, considering it is from Drew Estates. You would never think something this good can come from a company who churns out Acids like there is no tomorrow.

We just recently had a Drew Estate dinner, and it was great. We did it with the Liga, Joya de Nicaragua, and the Tabac Especial. Even the smokers who WILL NOT smoke an ACID were enjoying the Tabac Especial Negra line.

They actually just held an event here in loomis California either yesterday or next Saturday. I know that it's mainly to advertise the LP sticks but I'm sure a lot of acids will be there. Bulldog, I believe the coffee infused ones are called Javas, they have like 3 different flavors. Have fun!

The coffee infused is called Tabak Especial. The Javas are a coffee cigar made by Drew for Rocky Patel. But the Tabaks are better than the Javas.

I have tried the Tabak Especial and they are not too bad. Good morning smoke with a coffee.

I thought so too. Only the negra line, though. I think it's a perfect balance of tobacco and coffee flavor. Anymore sweetness, as in the dulce line, and it kills the smoke. But this is just one man's opinion.

The Liga Privada is Steve Saka's cigar... Johnathon just owns the factory and company they are made in.

I recently picked up a few of the Tabak Especial Negra and they were not bad at all. The wrapper is a little sweet, but it does make for a good smoke with a cup of coffee.
