Wow... just in case you missed it

I have a locker. Looking into renting another out. They are used for long term storage. Benefits are you don't have to worry about regulating the temp and RH. I live in AZ and Michigan. I am able to keep my smokes for long term aging in my locker and not have to worry about a thing. AZ sucks with the dry weather. A lot of time spent regulating the RH. When I'm in Michigan, I just put my boxes down in the basement and don't worry about temp and RH because the temp stays at a constant temp and I have a de-humidifier that keeps the RH at 65 or whatever I keep choose to keep it at.

I do however throw in my musty socks from time to time. Helps with the aging and taste my Cohibas in deep rest!

Out of curiosity I called a local cigar lounge, and I was quoted $500/yr for a locker that stores 10 boxes.

I had to keep from laughing, and declined to put my name down when he asked for it.

Coolidor here I come! :D

With renting out space, most B&Ms will give you a discount on smokes that can, in the long run make up for the up front cost of the locker.

Keep in mind there are some real players that enjoy cigars, especially in SoCal. Hell, if I remember correctly, Jon lights his Opus with $500 bills so dropping that amount on a year's worth of locker storage is nothing to guys like him.

More or less, the guy is right Emoboy. You'd do well to heed his advice.

Yeah, the other night he lit a BBMF maduro just to use it to light some fire crackers.
