    How long should I age

In what is the total opposite of most guys, my everyday sticks are ISOMs although they are the more affordable ones such as piedras, quinteros, fonsecas and the cheaper partagas vitolas. My "save to savor" sticks are largely Dominican and Nicaraguan With some higher end ISOMs as well. I don't...

What is your favorite budget cigar?

Good choices. Let me add Fonseca KDTs and Partagas Mille Fleurs and Piedra Cremas. In the non ISOM catagory I often smoke Padron Londres (natural or maduro)and Sanch Panza (MM-La Mancha and Feurte-Cordoba)both are less than 50 bucks before shipping

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I will be enjoying a Fonseca Cosaco ISOM after dinner with a little Johnnie Walker Blue. I'll be bringing one of those Cosacos to give to my wife's uncle who is a cool old BOTL. He doesn't usually smoke anything fancy just a Mac-a-day for 40 years. Enjoy, everyone. :)

    Party Shorts

I like them a lot even young. having said that, I thing I prefer Partagas PCEs as they seem a little more complex when young and I smoke most of mine young. another quick smoke that I'm really starting to appreciate is the Fonseca KDT. Another recent gem in the mareva catagory is the...

Jacksonville, NC has bad traffic?!?!? :0 Was there a cow in front of you or did a tractor cut you off? Maybe a pig truck crashed and caused a 20 minute traffic jam. :D Dude I've beeen to jacksonville, NC (my father in law is from there) and there isn't any traffic. Jeez, Florida would have you...

    cuban cedar humidor

I shoot for 65% for everyday smokes. My ISOMs seem to prefer closer to 60%. Whenever my humidor reaches 70% I can count on draw and burn problems.

    Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon

I'm a big fan of Carlos Torano especially the 1916. It is one of my go to cigars. I am becoming very fond of camaroons in general and regularly smoke the 1916, the CAO, the H. Upmann, and a very underated stick - the Oliva Grand Camaroon.
