Since I started with a collection of GBDs from the 70s in my college days, I've been adding to them from my home town B & M, Smokers Haven, which specialized in GBDs in the 60s and 70s. Today's addition is a Pedigree Bent Acorn:

I was just down at Smokers Haven in Columbus today and they have probably 3 dozen estate Dunhill's. (I was tempted but bought an estate GBD.) I'd contact them (call Premal Chedda) if you want to speak with someone about the stock they actually have. Smokers Haven.

I'm no expert on Dunhill prices but it sounds good to me.

Just saw on the C & D web site that the Dark Lord previewed a new blend called Key Largo at the Chicago Pipe Show. As a developing Peasehead, I'm looking forward to this.

I think the idea, as suggested by Mr. Wolf, for a mini-herf at Boswell's is a great idea. Anyone game?

Is a Dunhill or any other high end pipe that much superior to than a pipe costing $100 or less? I have 18 pipes so far, mostly GBDs from the early 70s and some Boswells. All smoke great as far as I'm concerned but all cost less than $100. But, I have to admit I'm curious about many lines that...
