In my experience, 65% is too high for the Tats. I usually keep mine no higher than 62% (~60% most of the time, though), in addition to religiously letting them rest for at least two months, and I've had no problems.
Back during the holidays, these things were going for insane prices on Yahoo.
I think I remember seeing a set of all three tins that hit $200.
I was too depressed about the state of humanity to check on the final selling price.
Argh!
I'd love to get in on this Jerry, but I'm already drowning in beans from your fantastic holiday specials..
I'll definitely be up for some when you finally stock them full time, however..
I've got a fiver burried in my humi that I won from cbid a couple months back.
To be honest, I had completely forgotten about them since I opened the package and set them down for rest.
I'll try and smoke one in the next couple of days and post a review.
I don't want to speak for hollywood, but perhaps the issue is that the pictures were posted to a private area on CS... whereas they've been posted to a public area on this forum.
Could just be a "level of exposure" kind of issue.
Nope, no difference. They both use the "black striped" Fuente band.
The telltale sign, though, is the shape of the cigar. The Hemingways are all perfecto shapes.
Wow..
These really aren't that hard to find for the $150 MSRP. It seems most places are trying VERY hard to unload them at that price.
If you were to spend a little time searching (and I stress "little"), you can even find them for less than that.
If it takes most cigars years for their internal tobacco oils to blend within, wouldn't it stand to reason that it might take quite a bit longer for outside influence (other cigars) to take hold?
I didn't see an update on there for the longest time, but I still read the archives.
I guess that he let his hosting account just expire. It's a shame, they were good reads.
There is nothing in my local B&Ms yet, but they all expect something by the end of the week.
Some folks down in the southeast already got their shipments... looks like they're slowly heading north and west.
