Keep the temp at 65 degrees and make sure both zones are set at the same temp. You'll find if you set the temp too low, it will be a PITA to keep the humidity at the proper level. Until you have some Spanish cedar or a number of boxes to hold the humidity the level will fluctuate.

What type of wine cooler to you have? Does it have a thermoelectric cooler or compressor style?

One pound of 65% beads. Temp. set at 66 degrees. I haven't had to add any water to my beads in 8 months. Below 60 degrees is too low IMO.

That is correct. Target had a big sell off on them a number of months ago because they were no longer carrying them. I have not seen anyone else carry the 28 bottle Vinotemps.

Just put a piece of black electrical tape over the drain hole. Put your beads in a mesh bag and lay it over the drain hole. The condensation will drip down and be absorbed by the beads, then recirculated as needed. This also give you enough room to put a shelf on the bottom support.
