Today's Smoke 2025

They had a few of these hiding in the back at the B&M I stopped at while running errands today so I thought I'd grab one to smoke on the drive home. If I've had one before I don't remember it. Started out mellow, developed a nice little kick about halfway through, but still stayed smooth to the nub.

Glad you liked it..!! I really like these and Robusto sized smokes when the weather gets hot. Nice, not too long smoke. Great in the AM with coffee......

It was a good cigar. I don't think it was as good as either of the other 2 newspaper ones I have smoked so far. But in fairness I was anticipating a JO EL TTT Robusto Extra I also laid out. What kind of rating do you give it.View attachment 96601

I can see how you would get the two confused, being as how they’re both labeled and one is wrapped in newspaper! 😂

I believe I gave the St. Pete an 86…

I haven't been on for a few days - drove down to SoCal (Murrieta) for my son's 8th grade promotion. (For perspective, that is about a 6.5 hour drive south of me here in Modesto) Here are a few of the smokes from both the day before leaving, Hampton Inn smoking areas, and the drive home.

Murrieta? Hit me up next time you come down and we can get together for a smoke!

Oh shit, for sure! I can tell you the smoking benches behind the pool at the Hampton Inn were like a wind tunnel lol! He did want me to take him to his favorite breakfast spot on Sat, so I got to eat at VIP's

Next time I'm down, I'll def have to carve out some time for non-school stuff. Off to HS next year for that kid!

‘04 Cohiba Robustos - this from a classic @bfreebern retaliatory strike way back in ‘06 according to my notes. Brandon was one of the first good friends I made on this fine board. We had tons of fun trading, bombing, splitting & passing. Anyhoo….on to the smoke.

It’s been a long while since I’ve smoked a CoRo. I’ve been a CoHo going on 25 years now but lately I’ve been stuck on Esplendidos, Ambars & Behikes. They’ve just been great with only a year or two age and I typically like my CoRo’s at least five years old. A twenty year old is a true flavor bomb. They just get better and better with age. Another first puff to last delight. Rich and full bodied without a hint of spice just soft leather vanilla cream YUM. I rarely nub a cigar these days but this one deserved said treatment. 75 minutes in heaven. Thanks Brandon!
