What SMOKING music are you listening to? (2025)

1971 saw a lot of things going on that showed the lack of coordination between the political and military goals along with even more protests in the states. US forces continued to decline, down to 157,000 by the end of the year and decreased bombing of the north as carrots for the NVA to come to the table while at the same time secretly going into Cambodia to cut supply lines. This was not coordinated with the ARVN (Army of Vietnam) who launched their own operation in Laos which besides being an utter failure gave proof that the ARVN would be no match for the NVA/Viet Cong without US support.

AFVN continued broadcasting coded messages to operators like the CIA, NSA, DIA, Green Berets and more. Songs like Imagine, What's Going On and songs by artists you would think would never be censored like Johnny Cash or John Denver's remake of the 1950 song Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream along with the versions by Pete Seegar and Simon & Garfunkel.

A decent 90s band no one has ever heard of probably.
They basically had two albums and no air play but the first album had a handful of good songs on it. The songs from the first album used to be up on youtube and there is some other stuff there.
They were pretty good live. I seen them in a small club touring for their first album. Then they just disappeared.
