One place that I purchase from while in Vancouver also ships any of their stock throughout Canada - City Cigar. They have an online presence but do not show their stock online. A quick email or call will get you what you need. Good peeps there but you will be facing typical CND pricing.

It will slow me down a little. I will stick to what I know I like and not venture too far away from those brands to try something new - combined with more out-of-the-country purchases.

I guess you are right - hell I have been there the past two days and just picked some really moldy cigars. The picture is funny, I have never seen that color of wood in the shop, nor do any of their display cases look like the one in the picture. This is what their display looks like.

Wow, Rain City is where the majority of my B&M money goes to - great friendly staff and I have never seen their humi readout over 70%. Good selection, and prices at MSRP. Someone have a grudge over them?

Exactly - its all in the font and "dots" on the band. I didn't have an exact cigar size to match in the old style band - but then again you wouldn't find an exact match - the sizing is way off on the fake.

The differences should be obvious. In all pictures the fake is in the middle. I just cropped pictures of the bands to show - but I can take pictures of the foot and whole cigar if people are interested. These were bought in Cuba from a co-worker of a family member in Canada. They came my way...

Vancouver is my old home town - lived their the first 25 years of my life. The taxes are insane - both on cigars and alcohol......MDG is $40+ per 24 pack.....nuts. LCdH Vancouver is a beautiful store though, and I am not just talking about the staff!
