Friends who insist on dipping cigars

So I have this friend who says we have to go smoke one of these days. Thing is he keeps telling me how I just have to dip my cigar into some scotch or cognac etc. I'm still new after only a year or so of cigars but I went through the acid stage at the beginning and now prefer just tobacco...

I've got a question, any help?

Sounds like MacGyver just stopped by. I may find a silver necklace and try this myself.

Doc got some good stuff still?

Wow that sucks, I've got some great meds but I don't share. You will have to talk the Dr. out of some for yourself. They going to set that or screw it down or what?

    Looking for sound recorder/editor program

So back in the day I was the king of the Dell Axim's. I had all kinds of cool programs and was able to do things that my home pc's still can't do. Anyway I'm trying to download some muay thai ring music and need to edit it. Unfortunately I can't find the music anywhere but youtube so I'm looping...

    Surgery in 2 days

They are taking a graft off of my hamstring to replace the ACL, the MCL is partially torn they think so they will probably leave it alone. They said it appeared that I had lots of tissue damage so they will be cleaning up and repairing whatever else is in there. I know highly technical terms...

    I thank you.

Congrats on the Anni, I have to agree, this place has taught me more about cigars and cigar culture than I ever thought possible.

    Surgery in 2 days

Muay Thai sparring, man it hurt when it happened. I knew it was hurt but today I watched the PA take my shin bone and push it out from my knee approx 2". Man that sucked to see.

    Surgery in 2 days

The cooler thing looks great, we'll see if my insurance will pay for it, otherwise it's the old fashioned ice bags. I was just told that the "adult" patient's take it easy like the Dr. say's. I told him that at 40 I still hadn't qualified as an adult but I would try to follow all rehab advice...

    Surgery in 2 days

I tore my ACL, MCL, and both miniscus on my left knee last month. Going in on Wednesday and I'm off work for a month! I'm not looking forward to the healing time on this one. I'm at least hoping to have a few good smokes while I'm down. The man corner is jonesin' for me to spend some time in it.

Question for you fitness types- Protein powder

Ditto again, sensible eating is a better idea than protein supplements. Now as for a cheap and good alternative, if you can figure out how you like it, try non-fat dry powdered milk. You can mix it in a variety of things, and it's a cheap, good protein source. I like it in hot chocolate or my...

    Another "LAM" post

That's an amazing bottle and story. I've only sampled the in-laws MaCallan and really can see it with a nice cigar.

    Wish Lists

Cool thread, time to go through the humi and see if I can help anyone out. My Wish List: - A good tasting candela, (I just love the wrapper but he flavor hasn't been very good) - If someone knows of a cigar from 1969 (year I was born) I'd love to pick such an item up. - John Bull, looks like a...
