    Stone 13th

I had one last weekend. It was extremely bitter and not in a good hop bitter kind of way. More of a phenolic chewed up aspirin kind of way.

What beer did you drink today?

Had a bunch of great beer over the weekend, one of the new brews I had was the Stone 13th Anny. It started off decent but finished extremely phenolic and bitter. I did not enjoy it but for $6 its worth a shot if you see it.

What are you drinking for Independence Day weekend

Had a great 4th, smoked a Brisket, two pork butts and some fresh sockeye salmon. Also drank a bunch-o-beer. Hope you guys all had an awesome day! Avery IPA - Just got this keg so we drank many pints yesterday. Consecration - Batch 1 2006 Old Guardian Gumballhead - Must of been old because it...

    How many have you had?

Nice thread Mike! The top 100 changes pretty often on BA but based on the current list I have tried 76 of them. It would be fun to see if I can knock off the other 24 this year. **Beers in bold are the ones I have not tried** 1 Trappist Westvleteren 12 2 Pliny The Younger 3 Vanilla Bean...

    Cùvee de Tomme 2009

That's a damn good question. I did the same thing, shook a few bottles up and it looked like some bubbles were forming but as someone pointed out to me, if you shake a bottle of water up it does the same thing. Last I heard from someone who opened it there has been little to no change.

    Cùvee de Tomme 2009

I saw one report but it was unfounded. Its hard to pay over $20 for a bottle of beer but I refuse to pay 30+ for a LA beer after his AS debacle. He left many retailers holding the bag with shit-loads of overpriced flat beer.

    Cùvee de Tomme 2009

So the 750's are $30+ a bottle. Mike, have you seen any 375's around and if so, whats the price on those? Thanks!

Thanks Israel and don't worry, your bottles of Dalwhinnie were unharmed!

What beer did you drink today?

Thanks for the update, Mike. That is definitely disappointing news, even more so is how Tomme and Co are still handling it. For 30 effin dollars it better be fantastic not flat as shhhhit.

Unfortunately no. She is short enough that her center of gravity makes her an unmovable swollen beast.

Nothing like a relaxing Sunday afternoon BBQ!

Ribs in the smoker - check. Cold beer - check. Friends and family enjoying themselves - check. Multiple tornadoes and golf ball sized hail - check. Thankfully everyone was ok. We only had minor damage, a few broken windows and the wifeys flowers were demolished. The ribs came out great and...

Glad to hear they are starting to arrive, always scary sending out 3K worth of scotch and leaving its fate to the USPS! Erick, I think I can still get a hold of a couple more bottles for you and a couple of others. If possible, let me know in the next few hours.

What beer did you drink today?

I think Storm King is one of the best if not the best 6 pack stouts out there. I love it, nice choice!

Would love to have you, Pete. I will keep my fingers crossed that all works out! Sounds great, Bruce! We will definitely have a CP HERF to go along with the event as their will probably be quite a few members in town for it.
