JFields I appreciate the effort, but thats only for residential/commercial applications. The lower the number means the darker the tint is. 5% means that only 5% of light is allowed to pass through the tint.

I've had 5% on all my trucks since 1998 and have never had a problem. I am well aware of the tint laws.

Does anyone do or know anyone who does window tinting in the Northern Virginia area? I need to go 5% and the locals look dumbfounded if you ask for darker than 50%. There are vehicles running around with dark tint, so someone is doing it.

I'll go without before I buy from Hayes. Those people are arseholes.

David, don't let the quality of that tobacco turn you off of pipe smoking. That stuff is one step above dog turds, IMO.

I had one from my local B&M last Friday. I'll first say that in no way is it an $18 cigar. First half inch was of wet grass. I attribute it to being a tad moist with minimal age. Further it turned to notes of espresso and walnut. About 3" there was so much tar at the head that I put it down...

If I had to smoke the crap in that free Altadis sampler, I'd give up pipe smoking.

Another vote for Davidoffs. Even the small Ambassadrice my wife smokes are impeccably constructed. Gator, if you opt to try one, get a Millenium blend.

Go to your local tobaccanist and get a basket pipe. These are el cheapos that most shops will have. Ask to sample some of their aromatic tobacco. Most shops will let you sample for free. Once you find what you like, get a moderately priced pipe, like a Savinelli, or a Peterson and dedicate that...

I hope you are not doing it with DiSaronno amaretto. At least get some Lazzaroni. It puts Di to shame!

In my opinion, Bose's quality has suffered in the past few years. However, depending on how big the discount is, it may be worth a shot. If you want pristine performance, go for Klipsch.

Although not as strong as a LFD-DL, I'd have to say that the Camacho Coyolar is a stout cigar. I made the mistake of having a perfecto on an empty stomach. YMMV
