    Favorite Cohiba Size and Why

I'll agree with Wilkey on the Exquisito. As he so eloquently stated: "for their density of flavor". Even without long term aging I enjoy the Exquisito. I don't know about long term aging but I hear they get even (way?) better. Cheers, antaean

    End of trade embargo

Well, the weekly special editorial at JR sure sounds like they are at it again: "With all the new items coming out each year, and the possibility of Havana cigars being around the corner, JR just has to "lighten up" on the varieties of packings we carry that involve the exact same cigars... and...

    Mooch Gars.

BBS, I like your categories better than mine. Under mooches there is also one that will light the head and smoke from the foot "because everyone knows cutters are a waste of time". LOL Cheers, antaean

    Who's the King

I go with 65% for long term storage (2+ years, only recently started trying to age stuff) and most smokes 65% for smoking. But like some others here, I have noticed that some cigars seem to taste better a bit wetter, up to 70%. So I also keep a 70% humidor for some cigars and 65% for others...

    Mooch Gars.

For me, there are different categories of "moochers". Friends/BOTL's at work: Not the guys who smoke regularly, but folks who cannot smoke at home for various reasons or are extremely light volume smokers. These people get to share excellent smokes from me which are usually something they have...

    Please recommend me a substitute

I have seen a few comments (not sure where) that one need not spend premium bucks for Montecristo (DR) cigars, presumeably because there are many smokes from the DR with the same flavor profile. Unfortunately, I have not found them yet! Can anyone point out a fairly close substitute for the...

    H. Upmann

These are pretty good if you are talking about the 42 ring gauge, hand made models. 3 to 4 years of age in the tubes seems to result in a pretty mellow smoke. Fairly clean tobacco taste with slight hints of floral/herbal, and for me, there is an almost sugar cane type of sweetness on the exhale...
