Figured I'd post here rather than start a new thread. I'm about halfway through a bundle of presidentes that I got a month or so ago. For the money, these things are awesome. They have a flavor I haven't ever encountered in another cigar, but it's good. Fairly earthy, similar to a milder...

That's a pretty broad question......tons and tons of them out there. Looking for a particular price range? If you've got the coin, I say get a few boxes of natural Hemingways and call it good. ;)

The Pepin/Padilla figurado is one fine little smoke. Its big brother, the 6X60, is a different animal entirely. I wish I'd gotten in on some of those LFD's....they look sweet. Look forward to the reviews! :thumbs:

Your timing is uncanny. I read Wilky's post (w/excellent photos) last night, and decided I would try it tonight. Just gave it a whirl on a Tat Havana VI Hermosos, and it worked like a champ. Left two of the three parts of the cap intact, didn't smash the head of the cigar any, and the draw is...

Started out with a Famous Nic 3000 Presidente.....for the money, these rock. Then a Padron 2000 maduro. At about four months, these are starting to get decent. Wrapped it up with a Pepin "Cuban Blend" petite lancero. Very good, as always.

Sounds like Italian dressing to me.

I'm not much of a Fuente fan, and was prepared to be disappointed with the King B I got a couple months ago. I wound up really liking it, even though it's overpriced (IMO). I hope the other is as good.

I'm almost sorry I asked. :D This may be premature, as I won't know anything until June, and then I'll be in the desert. Rest assured, I'll let y'all know, and mail out the celebratory sticks when I get back. At least I'll have time to amass some decent stuff to send out. :thumbs:

I've had a couple. One was a robusto, the other was of a smaller ring guage. The robusto was ho-hum, but I really liked the smaller one. I think they're good for the money, but I haven't bought any. I gave a robusto to a friend who smokes mostly Habanas, and he really liked it.

He's the only one I know of for sure....already on the list. :cool:

Just curious......if things go well, I might be inclined to buy this group a round of cigars in a couple months. :whistling:
