If you're in Tröegs' distribution area, the first of this year's crop should be in stores and distributors within a week. Cases and 6'ers are currently available at the brewery. In case you didn't know, this is a very good thing.

Having had several experiences with this fresh, I second Jonas and recommend sitting on it for at least 2 years or more. You can actually feel your teeth melting if you drink it right off the line...it literally turns the enamel on your molars into powder...kind of like 36 proof Jolt cola...

You'll find that beers brewed with Belgian yeast strains tend to have a fruity characteristic to them often classified as "bananas" or "bubble gum". It seems like you've experienced that but were dancing around the description. Keep going, you're doing great!
