    Moist tobacco

:) That just reminded me of something. My brother's an IT guy, and my dad was having some problems with his computer, and so they were on the phone, trying to solve the problem. My brother asked if dad had connected something technical-sounding, and his reply was "Yeah, and I hooked up a...

    Ebay pipes

He said he tried to describe them as best he could, and yay, if I win, I can pick them up in person. I'm still weighing up the decision to buy them or not. I barely smoke my Gigi enough to really justify buying another FIVE, however, if they go cheaply, they seem to be decent pipes, so the...

    Moist tobacco

Hmm, interesting thoughts. Oh well, I don't know if this pouch is any good or not, but regardless, it's good to know the proper way to keep and handle my tobacco.

It's in my city, so I'm going to ask about direct pickup. Savings everywhere you can get em ;)

    Ebay pipes

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?vi...5403299563&rd=1 What do ya reckon they're worth? $20 sounds like a good deal for 5 pipes, but I doubt they'll go for that cheap. There's quite a few that I've got my eye on at the moment, but I'm a sucker for value :D Woo

    Moist tobacco

Nah, I ran out of money :p I'm still tossing it up whether I should or not. They're on fairly regularly, so it's not as though I'll miss out if I choose not to this week but decide I want them next week. Maybe I will... just for the hell of it next month.

    ATL.SMOKERS.PIPE

I have one like that! Slightly different though, as it's silver plated and has a little lever cap thing that comes off.

    Moist tobacco

Cool, good rule to know. Thanks. I formatted and lost all my bookmarks and have been on hiatus getting my computer back online. Good to be back.

    Moist tobacco

To be honest, no :p I don't know much (if anything) about cigars, nor their humidity. I think they feel alright now... they don't feel overly moist to the touch, but I'll leave it to breathe overnight, and see how it is in the morning.

    Moist tobacco

Hi there, My cousin gave me some tobacco, which was years old and dry, very dry. So I slippeda piece of apple into the packet to try and moisten it up, but I think I may've let it get a little TOO moist... Is there some kind of gauge for how moist it should be? It lights, but it seems to go...

    New Dunhill

Just curious - how long've you been smoking a pipe? I see you've only got one post, but that doesn't mean you're a newb :)

    New Dunhill

Does it have little balls and undulating curves? with a groove down the middle? My friend had one of them, and it's supposedly a smoke cooler. Maybe that's what it is? I'm a newb, so, I'm just guessing :p

    Lighter problem :(

lol :) It's only odd in terms of it's regularity. I have one once every blue moon.

    Lighter problem :(

Yeah, that might be the only other option. Thanks guys. I emailed Ronson to see if I could get a spring anywhere in Aus. I don't hold TOO much hope, but, we'll see.

    Lighter problem :(

Bear in mind I'm in Australia. Things aren't as readily available as in other countries. I'll try the local tobacconist, see if they've got anything similar.

    Lighter problem :(

Do you think a regular "throwaway" gas lighter spring would do the trick?

    Smells like fish

Those beers look NOTHING like Australian beers.

    Lighter problem :(

Hi guys, I collect lighters, and smoke the odd pipe, and I recently acquired a new lighter. It's got a fairly old mechanism, similar to this one (though not the actual lighter pictured) Underneath the "button" is a spring that applies resistance when lighting so you can create a proper...
