    PC in Cuba

Yep. Soon they're going to have an EPA spending confiscatory money on "studies" about air quality in public places. Besides who else but a Communist like Fidel would know more about Political Correctness. Everybody in Cuba has to be Politically Correct or receive "political re-education"...

    Finally getting a Humidor

alexgtp. I envy your problem. Some of us would get drawn and quartered if we had a humi at work. Even if we smoked them outside.

Punch Royal #12 and Upmann #2

Current Upmann #2s are smoking well out of box. I'm sure that they will be even better later. Just can't keep my hands off current production stuff. More body than the Montes of current year as well. But I go for both.

What to do with junk cigars

So my humis are getting a little too full. I've got some seriously crappy sticks that I couldn't even give away with a straight face. It would seem like a cruel trick to anybody. Should I: -Return to retailer (two years ago) -Donate them anonymously (less guilt) -Throw them in the fireplace...

    Taste change as you smoke?

I've actually come across a few cigars that have changed as a function of length. Monte #2 PUC 10/02 has done it very time I have lit one. First acidic and tannic then full volume cocoa flavors as the smoke becomes voliminous towards the end. I've found that with many cigars changes are...

    RyJ Ex 3 tastes flat

Has anyone tried a RyJ Ex 3 and found it VERY flat and smelling like burnt newspapers. Construction was well done. Hard when squeezed. Color was brown-grey. Smoke was creamy and volminuous. With an aroma of a newpaper fire. But the taste is just unwelcomed paper smells and foul. Severe...
