My thoughts on the new BGM...

    car question

I owned a Saturn in the past. I would like to point something out, as a specific model to avoid. I owned a 1997 SL2. This was actually my now ex-wife's car. This car was the biggest POS I've ever owned/directly dealt with. 1) Sunroof leaked. This leak caused the roof interior to sag...

    car question

What is your budget for this car? Agreed w/ audilicious about Honda & Acura cars due to reliability, gas mileage, and abundant amount of replacement parts. If you start looking for cars older than that...their reliability can be questionable or parts become hard to come by. Definitely...

    The screw you thread!

puffstuff Do you have a website? If so, I'll check it out. If not...I'll PM you when I'm ready to buy. But I also understand the viewpoint of a vendor, as I was once attempting to start a biz (not cigar related). Completely different industry. Let's just say that the industry I...

How can I get Cubans here?

So even if we brought back empty cuban cigar boxes (while traveling in say China)...that would still be illegal? For an empty box??? (Yeah, I'm sure I'm getting a few chuckles and laughs from some senior members here. I'm still new to the cigar realm...so I can take the heat)

    My how times have changed...

She only started to look like that after the messy divorce w/ her now ex-husband. Rumor has it (and I believe it) was that her ex-husband wanted a controlling stake of her company (Club Jenna). This was a business she built from the ground up...and she wasn't about to lose the very thing that...

Which do you prefer? Natural or Maduro?

Just thought I would ask. Which type of wrapper do you prefer? Natural or Maduro? (and perhaps...why?) I'm still new to cigars...and haven't had the opportunity to try a Maduro.

    workout thread

What is your goal? Training is one part of the equation. Food/nutrition is the other. Rest/recovery is the last part. Calories burnt does not mean anything w/o comparing your calorie intake. If you're not consuming enough calories, you will not grow muscle nor recovery properly...

    Possible wine cooler candidates thread...

Just thought I would provide a update. I bought my Vinotemp. The popular one from Target (which is currently at a reduced promotional price of $180 instead of $200 at the moment). But I also came across these other candidates which are pretty competitive to the Vinotemp. A Haier 42...

Getting a bit confused about Boveda packets and hygrometer!

Thanks for the advice guys. My humidor is still seasoning... but since it has gotten soooo HOT in LA, I've already made the decision to purchase a Vinotemp. There is just no other way to keep the cigars at a "reasonable" temperature w/o using either a wine cooler or having the a/c running...

It is too hot here in SoCal! (and I just bought a new humidor...si

Turk100mm - what brand wine cooler is that? badhangover - Ceniza Lounge...their selection is definitely overpriced. Unless you know of a place that is cheaper? There is a small cigar lounge on Fair Oaks in South Pasadena. Flatsix - I hear that. Really hot this weekend.

    Possible wine cooler candidates thread...

After having read the Fridge & Wine Cooler Guide thread... http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/index.php?...c=36623&hl= I began searching for other possible candidate wine coolers just for the sake of variety. The Vinotemp ($200) is hands down...the most popular. With the Haier not that far...

It is too hot here in SoCal! (and I just bought a new humidor...si

Thanks for the advice. Already obsessing. haha. Thinking about going bigger w/ a wine-o-door. But will first look into putting my humidor in a cooler spot. Then I can order cigars. Right now, I have none...but am certainly tempted to buy like a crazy madman! I went to Ceniza...

It is too hot here in SoCal! (and I just bought a new humidor...si

Putting gel packs into a humidor? But that would create a large puddle of water in my humidor. Plus, that is far more maintenance that what should be necessary. I'd have to check my humidor every 2 hours to clean up the condensation. That...and checking on my humidor every few hours...my gf...

It is too hot here in SoCal! (and I just bought a new humidor...si

Well...I thought the coolest room is our bedroom. (I live in a 1 bedroom apartment/condo). And it definitely is, compared to the living room/kitchen. My kitchen/living room receives afternoon light...and gets really warm in the evening. I'll check the closet as an option. I think under...

It is too hot here in SoCal! (and I just bought a new humidor...si

I live in San Garbriel...and well...it is just too hot here in SoCal. I just received my new humidor. Seasoning it right now. And also am calibrating my hygrometer w/ the Boveda hygrometer calibration kit. Well...glancing through the clear plastic Boveda bag...I see temps are an...
