    Few Questions

Does the strength of the ash reflect the quality of the cigar in any way? For example, a crappy cigar wont' allow a really long ash, but a quality cigar will have long ashes? Some cigars definitely withstand longer ashes than others.

    Few Questions

I've been smoking cigars for 11 years and I still have trouble picking up flavors. I still classify cigars as "good" or "not good", hah.

    A few cigar photos

I've been to many places in Brazil, but never Rio. I've been to Sao Paulo, Santos, Fortaleza, and Manaus. Hopefully next year I'll get to Rio or some of the other cities. Just for fun, I made a map of all the places I've been to so far. Blue are countries, red are state or equivalents.

    Nicaraguan vs Dominican

I only ask because a few weeks ago at a B&M the guy asked if I typically liked the Dominican cigars. I said I have no idea, because, as you said, I thought it depends on manufacturer, etc. Could you say that in general there are differences between them?

    Nicaraguan vs Dominican

Are there vast differences between the two? I think most of the cigars I smoke are Dominican, but I had a My Father and a Padron and I fully enjoyed both of them (both Nicaraguan I believe).

    A few cigar photos

I got lucky with #3. Indeed smoke is a hard thing to capture. I'm pretty sure I took all of these with my 35mm f/1.8. Post processed in Lightroom (contrast, whit balance, etc) I shot this yesterday while picking up a Padron Took this during the summer while in Madison WI, my buddy...

    A few cigar photos

I did. Heh, very observant. I travel a lot for work, so pictures 1 and 3 are from two different hotel rooms. #2 is from my outside balcony. Sorry, just thought I'd share my two loves: cigars and photography. Like I said, I travel a lot and I honestly can't remember WHERE I took #1 and #3...

    Atlanta GA, recommendations

I've only stayed up north near Sandy Springs and Roswell. You can take the train and a bus if you feel comfortable staying up there, or drive. Midtown has some good eateries.

    Torano Master?

I've been trying to find a Torano for a long time. My co-worker swears by them but none of the stores carry them around here. I'll have to get one online. Rocky Patel is my favorite, so now I'm really intrigued.

Near Chicago Event (Tatuaje and Don Pepin)

Nice place it is there. Lots of selection, very fancy. The event was pretty good, a good number of people turned out for it. I was just sitting outside with my wife and brother-in-law for a few hours enjoying a My Father. Good stuff.

    Seasoning CAO Vision Humidor

As I said (or maybe not) I've never really been into collecting cigars and storing them. I've always just bought them as needed (1 or 2 at a time)...or if I got a small box just I keep it in the box it came in with a humipack. My wife did get me a nice small humidor but I gave it away to my...
