The seasoning guide says not to use a foam type humidifier in conjuction with the jar or tube gel type? Why would that be? I bought a tube awhile back for keeping smaller tupperdors or bags etc. and just keep it in the humi when not using for that, am I doing something wrong?

Tupperware works well! Even better with some cedar from boxes, tubes, wherever in them. Get one of those jars or tubes of jell to go inside it, then place the cigars, and even a hygrometer. No seasoning required!
