John I don't know how to put this so I'm just going to come right out and say it; I've pleasured myself several times this week while looking at this picture. There, I said it and now it's out there. I have zero regrets.

Had another nice bowl of Old Joe Krantz. My nephew tried the Old Dark Fired and loved it so I sent him home with some.

I don’t know why but I wasn’t expecting much from it, maybe the mild tin note I guess? Anyway it had tremendous flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Followed the LBF up with my first ever bowl of Old Dark Fired. Again, tremendous flavor.

No pics but I smoked a bunch of chicken thighs with a spicy honey sauce cut with a little cider vinegar.

Stu commented in the FB group that Dan’s son was adopted by Dan’s niece and is in good hands. I was genuinely worried for him and was thankful he seems to be in a good place now. Still, I miss Dan.

We had friends over yesterday and they brought me some beers I haven’t had before. Not exactly the weather for a Baltic Porter but this intrigued me enough to try it. By God it tasted like Oreos. I haven’t had a Helles style before, I really enjoyed this. Final beer and another good one...

Took a break from pipes and enjoyed a Boli RC from 08 or 09. Fantastic cigar.

I’ve been wanting to try some burley blends out so I ordered some Old Joe Krantz and enjoyed my first bowl tonight. Wonderful tobacco.
