OK so I opened my last bottle of ST Creme Burlee this Thanksgiving weekend and my sister loved it, she loved it so much she thought she could find it at the stores in Cali ( :0 :0 :( OOOOPPPPSSS!) ... so with XMAS right around the corner I figured this would be a great gift for her ... looking...
Enjoying a Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet that I picked up in Vegas last month, wow this is an awesome brew. If you have the chance get this one. I can't wait to open Hoppy Feet 1.5 and Brown Angel from them.
Just got a bottle of Kern Pumpkin Ale we'll see how well it does to the likes of other punkin ales I've tried like DFH Punkin, Schlafly Pumpkin, Midnight Sun TREAT, ST Pumking, and Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin
Outside in the back enjoying a work of art natural with a glass of cigar city big sound...wow, lots of flavor! This doesn't taste like any scotch ale I've had before ... I say its a bit vinous taste in the background.
Well worth a try if you can get it.
At the Hall & Oats concert ... made a brisket this morning for our picnic at the Hollywood Bowl. Enjoyed Burton Baton, Anchor Xmas 2009 and 2010, and opening a Stone 12th Anni. Couldn't be a better evening with my wife.
After a long last week, great weekend, and telling ex-wife to fuck off ... I had to celebrate!
Black Butte XXI and a 4yr old Padron 6000 ... PURE BLISS! One of the best porters I have ever had to date. This was the creamiest and thickest beer I've had. 2 years did wonders, I wish I had more...
Something I have been wanting to try for a long time now ..CCB Bolita Brown. Nice roasty flavor ... a cross between a brown ale and porter. If there was ever a beer for a cigar this is it. Nice tobacco, slight sweetness, and roastiness. Very drinkable at 9% ... the 750ml kicked my ass!
