I wouldn't say terrible ... more like different. Not your typical RIS, I beleive the census was "very port like". I liked it but have had much better I am not sure there is anything comparable to DL ... its flavor profile is in a league of its own.

Well I had it from tap and 2 other times from a bottle, and I really enjoyed it fresh. But it seemed to lose a little bite and there were some off flavors that I couldn't remember being there. I loved it fresh too but it is a different beer now. I could be wrong but pop one open see if you like it

This weekend had a BJ's PM Porter (pretty good) and Mirror Mirror ... this is definately on its way downhill. A little oxidation but not enough to stop me from drinking. Decent overall .. if you got them drink them!

+1 on Old Fezziwig. Wish they had them in 6 packs Sam Adams make some decent beers. If I go into a bar and they don't carry any micro brews but have Sam Adams I will prefer these over all other macros. Some of my favorites: Winter Lager Black Ale Holiday Porter Cream Stout Chocolate Bock...
