Very difficult question, as tastes change. But if I had to put a list together of recent regular production cigars, I would say:
1) H. Upmann No. 2 (the '01's are fantastic and this cigar is much more consistent over Monte No. 2's)
2) RASS (the 2004's I just finished were very good)

Not exactly true, Andrew. It's my understanding that the cigars were shipped directly from the collector. I could be wrong as I haven't discussed this with Tim directly.
For the record, I agree with those who state that Tim was not directly responsible here. I hear Jon on his post, though...
Smoking an old Por Larragana. It's good...not particularly great, though. I broke rule #1. Older cigars need a while to recover from travel. Now I know 30 days is too soon. Here's to wishing this is the problem! :)
Age since production. Everyone has valid points in this thread. I've tasted great PSD4's received shortly after production. But it's been a few years since I've experienced this. This is generally due with the maturation of the leaf and the effect of ammonia during the process.

Grey market vendors typically remove the barcode to protect their sources. Legitimate Habanos channels would be in a great deal of trouble if it was determined they were selling cigars to the grey market. But it happens.
First and last time I cook with the skin on. It turned out good, but it could have used the additional flavor that comes with more bark.
Fantastic. I'm of the opinion that ECA box code Upmann's are some of the best cigars that were rolled in Cuba in 2002. I haven't had a bad one.
