Yeah, they really are. I enjoyed the Maduro Nub I smoked about a week ago. As soon as I smoked it, I knew I was going to buy more.
It's a stick that packs a lot of cigar into that little shape. It's packed TIGHT in there. Lasted a long time too for the short length of the stick. Smoked really...
Yeah, that's Roma Craft Intemperance with the gold foil on the stick. I liked it very much. It was a few days ago, so I don't remember very many details of the smoke.
I do remember that I enjoyed it very much. Definitely a full bodied cigar, and a pleasant flavor. That's all I remember.
Double Maduro - Nubs. Looking forward to trying one of these sticks. I've had the maduro, looking forward to trying the double. I've always been a fan of twins 😉
😏🤫
Sorry, it doesn't look familiar to me. Looks like someone beat me to the punch, was going to look it up!
I'm surprised too, I was just looking at Cavalier sticks the other day.
I've been browsing different sites looking through their inventory just to try and familiarize myself with different...
I thought about the Drenel angle, but wasn't sure. It's fairly thin ceramic on the sides. Didn't want to break it. Not that 3 bucks would hurt buying a new one, just don't want to have to go to Walmart again!
Thanks, you and @Nate1977, for the suggestion. Sometimes things are over thought and the simple, obvious choice is front of you. It is ceramic. Ill check Amazon for a cigar rest to add to it.
The same guy who gave me a shot at the Roma 2022, suggested the LA Aurora Platinum today.
He showed me the tag for them. They were made in 2018. So it has been aging awhile. I took his word on it and picked it up. What the hell...
Went to the shop for some butane..... I will never learn to just walk out.
I always walk out the long way.... through the humidor door, around the sides, around the table, to the other end, then back through the door, and then back to the check stand to make my second purchase...
I'm really enjoying the cigar. It's full bodied, but not as much as some of the Diesels I've had, or or Maduros. It smokes really well, I used the V cut. Great draw, flavorful... All around I like it, and would definitely get another one.
Here is what I use for an ashtray. I picked it up at walmart for about 3 bucks. Works great for the most part. However, if I want to set down my cigar it slides to the middle, naturally.
I've been trying to figure out how to jimmy-rig this thing to set my cigars down and coming up short. I'm...
That's interesting. I didn't think about a punched cigar smoking hotter, and/or concentrating the smoke changing the flavor. That makes sense.
I'll have to try some straight cuts and V cuts on the same cigar and see if I notice a difference. At the moment I prefer a V cut. it seems to work...
I saw a Lotus serrated V-cutter on CI the other day, think it was called Jaws something. Anyway, it looks really cool and I was in the market for a new cutter. I have been putting up with a cheapo V cutter given to me for free by CI on an order I place. It cut a V, but many times, ripped it...
I have the Roma Craft 2022 sitting there staring me in the face every day now. I was trying to figure out when I should smoke it, but then a light bulb went off over my head.
Sunday, the 17th, is my wedding anniversary. 21 years. Part of my celebration on Sunday will to be enjoying a limited...
Thanks. I have a large quantity of new cigars that were just delivered, and I maybe 10 more cigars on the way. Fortunately, I do already have cigars on hand though, so it's not that big of a deal to wait a few days, a week, whatever.
I am eager to try the new sticks though....!
