When The Wife® and I were last in Homer, we stopped for breakfast at the Two Sisters Bakery (a great little place!) where we had a killer pastry. Last night, we made our first attempt at replicating it...with some embellishment. The result was quite tasty...
...puff pastry filled with brie...

How's that for eclectic?
Okay...this thing rocks. (figuratively speaking). As Itype this, I'm lounging in the middle of a small lake not from house, Chugach Mountains to my left, while smoking a Fuente Gran Reserva. I'm at peace, I tell ya. I'm sorry I waited so long to replace the old tube. This one is comfortable...
The only way you'll slit your throat is intentionally or through profound foolishness. Seriously, with proper blade angle and pressure the chances of a serious cut are very, very small. But cut yourself during the learning process, you will. Still, I readily admit that DE razors are...
As for an explanation, have we ruled out intestinal parasites? The latrine might have been occupied. It would explain the facial expressions...well, maybe.
As for having a discussion with the owner, I'd personally skip it as not worth my time. Trying to reason someone out of an opinion that he didn't reason himself into in the first place usually just gives me a headache. If he does later decide to separate his personal beliefs from his business...

I don't have that model but speaking well of the brand, my Pro II is still going strong after more than 5 years.
The only grief I have with them is that for Alaskan customers, they charge way too much for shipping. All I needed was a new lower gasket ($3.00 each) and the shipping was about 8...
Those are some damned odd lookin' trout you have there. (Says a reformed Southern bass fisherman!)
Nice catches! I'm still waitin' for ice-out...dammit.
My Flyfishing Acquisition Disorder has flared up again.
I've been in the market for a float tube since last fall, after the old girl developed another leak. So on Saturday, I headed off to the annual Great Alaska Sportsman Show in search of an Outcast Super Fat Cat. I searched the entire show...
Sounds nice, klipsch. I'm curious about the Mitchell's, myself.
I just ordered a Dirty Bird 1.5 scuttle, in green. It should be here within 3-4 weeks. Woot!
