Sounds like some awesome drinking. How was the 11? My mom picked me up a bottle and is bringing it when she comes in October. My brother still has a bottle of the 10. I'm thinking we need to get together for a mini vertical! I drank my bottle of 10 a long time ago, and it was amazing.
I cracked one open last night. Thanks Jonas! Very interesting beer. Lots of citrus in the aroma. Plenty of spice from both the yeast and the hops.
Kind of reminded me a little of Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel.
Nice weekend. I had a bottle of the Creme Brulee over vacation. Amazing aroma. Went great with a RyJ Churchill. For some reason most of our stores got stiffed on the Creme Brulee. I got the last bottle from a store.
I've had them before, that's why I was so excited that they finally are available here. I did also pick up the Pete Brown Tribute, which is a new one for me. They say Oskar Blues is coming next!
I was pretty excited when I saw this at a local store when I was picking up a bunch of wine and beer for a trip to the lake. It must have just hit the shelves, because the whole BrewDog line up had no prices on the shelves. When I looked on my receipt to see what the price was, it wasn't on...
I smoked a lot of the Petite Tatuajes and Cabaiguans over the last winter. They are both really well made and flavorful.
Just don't smoke them too fast.
It was nice outside last night, and the Royals even won. That was an exciting finish. I had the game on the TV inside as I enjoyed an Aurora Barrel Aged on the porch. Nice flavor on the Aurora, but the draw and burn were disappointing, even after a month in low 60s RH.
One of the guys in my homebrew club made this for 5L kegs:

A little hard core. There is a lot of good beers in 5L mini kegs. We get Bell's Two Hearted and Oberon as well as some good German brews.
