I'm going to try and use a couple small/quiet fans to move the air outside. The return in about 30' away on the other side of the room. We will see what happens.
I just renewed to Cigar Aficionado. I have learned how to read the reviews about the cigars to determine if I would like the cigar or should try it. I do like all the pieces on stuff I could never afford.
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. From what I have learned it's hard to come by vintage smokes, at least for me. If someone knows where I could get a cigar from 1969 (year I was born) and 1987 (year I graduated from H.S.).
I have a bunch of cigars from '96 when I was...
In the winter months I'm in hell, I work 3am to noon and if there is a forecast of snow/ice etc I work midnight to noon. So lately I've taken to about a 2am cigar and coffee while out checking on all my streets. Never really thought I would enjoy a cigar that way but it seems to work out...
I'm going to take this Mike's hard lemonade bike and convert it to a cigar themed.
I think I have a rep from Alec Bradley convinced to send me stickers for it. However, what are your thoughts?
I'm converting the fenders to chrome and changing the pedals, obviously all current stickers are going...
That looks great! You gave me an idea to try, thanks!
I will have to come back and try the sealer you used, that looks much more durable than the spray on lacquer I used on my mini cigar/bbq table.
Mine was a box of Oliva's, I believe the connecticut's in robusto. They were great! I still love pretty much anything Oliva but the Lancero's of theirs are a favorite. I also have taken to buying the 48 count box of "O" maduro's, a little spicy but after they sit about 2 yrs I really enjoy them.
I used to board all the time. My son just picked up a long board with drop thru's. I am going to have to pick one of my own up over the winter. I miss bombing the hills.
Thanks for the review I don't. I have continually tried different cigars over the years but for some reason never an Opus. I am going to have to keep my eyes open for some now after your review.
I started smoking cigars about 8-10yrs ago. I love to try different cigars, I keep a journal so that over the years I have seen how my tastes have changed. The one thing that hasn't changed is that I don't care for the peppery/spice that a lot of people love. I seem to really like tobacco leaf...
Every 4th of July we block the street off so the kids in the neighborhood and go nuts. I'm outside most of the day and like to see how many I can smoke. Record so far is 6 cigars. We'll see how next year goes.
I have to agree with this advice. I was a huge Glock fans for many years. Loved my 9mm and the 40 but couldn't shoot them very well. One day I went to the range with a friend of mine who let me try his standard size 1911. I shot that better one handed fast draw than I could shoot any of my...
Thanks guys, good ideas. The UV coating would definitely help since it will be used outside and then stored away each time. The heat issue is the tough one. I may make one side of the table cigar bands and the side closest to the heat source use stickers from knife companies/makers. That...
I'm going to turn a grill/tailgate type table into a cigar table. Problem is that the charcoal grill heats up quite a bit not to mention when it is in direct sunlight the table gets pretty hot. Is there any kind of high temp spray paint/laquer type material that can be applied once the bands...
