Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaning toward the Punch-Punch.
Has anyone tried the Romon Allones Superiores, yet? They also fit the bill, but I haven't heard anything about them.
Every year we spend a few days around New Years with friends. He smokes cigars but isn't terribly knoweldgeable. I usually try to come up with something interesting to bring with me and a few years ago I started a tradition of bringing a 10 count box of CC with me.
Nothing terribly expensive...
I just ordered mine. One of the few absolute rules of pipe smoking that I adhere to religiously is to wait until after Thanksgiving before cracking this year's Christmas Cheer.
Its one of my favorite tobaccos out there, and I look forward to Black Friday each and every year. I'll smoke it all...

Stopped by Holts this afternoon and restocked on some SSMs. They were having their Tatuaje event so I was able to grab a few Jekylls and even some Anejo 46s. All and all it was a pretty good day for me.
There was a time I would have said, no way, you have to be pulling my leg, but there is a photo going around the internet of someone at an expensive cigar event smoking something good (maybe an Opus?) with the ceder still on. He was a good halfway through the cigar.
Damn, I have no excuse. I actually commented in that old thread. I also bought the groupon on Friday. I checked before hand to make sure that they actually had stuff that I wanted. I just got an email saying 90% of my order was out of stock with not expected to be restocked any time soon. I...
I have a Breitling I wear every day, but in truth, I don't really need it. In court I can't pull out my phone to check the time, so that's pretty much the only time I actually rely on my watch.
Thought the first was missing part of her arm. I sat there with my head cocked to the side like a golden retriever for a minute before I figured it out.
I have a 15 count Cigar Caddy that does the trick. I fly with pipes more often than cigars. Occasionally they take a good look at my pipe tool, but they've never given me a hard time. They are pretty strict about tourch lighters. I use a Zippo for my pipes, so I just use that to light my cigars...
PM me your address. I don't think I have any Frog Morton (I personally find those blends to be bland and overrated), but I can certainly send you some Latakia to try.
Sterling, what have you tried so far, and what interests you the most?
My suggestion is: while samplers are great, avoid the urge to try as many different blends as possible and focus on differentiating between the different types of blends. While a lot of folks suggest that new smokers start...
I'll smoke my pipes inside, in the garage/basement, but tend to keep the cigars outside. I live in a big stone row house in the Philly. Mine is right in the middle where the row is staggered, so my neighbors’ houses stick out further behind mine. There's no privacy on my deck, but I have nice...
