FVF is English only in country of origin. It is purely Virginia tobacco. The smell that you associated with "English" style blends is Latakia - and there are those of us who fiend after it, but don't worry, you won't find any in FVF.
I read the thread title as implying these are statements my mother would not have made. I meant to imply that my mother had, on more than one occasion in fact, smelled a shirt and deemed it "clean enough".
I agree - I really like most of what Stone puts out (their IPA is one of my favorites) but I think AB is over rated. I think it gets most of its play just because of its name.
