I have been sitting here in my humidor. Just enjoying the ambiance. I have been looking corner to corner. Wow have I got a collection. Many good memories collecting it. Many regrets on the amount spent on such a collection. I have way more than I can smoke. Some I am so proud of that I may...
I smoked one of the old ones. It was left behind by Matt R at a function in Vegas. I cut off the spit end and smoked the rest. It was almost the whole cigar. It was fantastic!! The beer that night helped the situation!
I smoked a 1940's Henry Clay cigar this evening. It was tart and refreshing. A little simplistic on the palate but nice. It was a small cigar so it burned a little hot but as long as you smoke it nice and relaxed it was enjoyable. It had a nice historic appeal since it was such an old example of...
My 1st larger humidor was one of these and I loved it. I drilled holes in the back of all shelves to get better circulation. I used the large Cigar Oasis to humidify it. It worked perfectly! Good luck.

I remember hating dealing w a bunch of coolers and small humidors. Having all your cigars in one place is the way to go. You will like your cabinet I'm sure.
I like to buy old Dunhills. Either from Smokingpipes.com or a few sources on ebay. I recently bought a 1968 Dunhill group 4 Bulldog which I love. It smokes perfectly! Also, I am waiting for 2 group 3 Dunhill Apples. One from '77 and one from '78. I have a couple of Dunhill Apples from '29...
I have 2 boxes of H. Upmann Monarchs from the late '90's. 1 w tubes and 1 w/out. I do not find one really better than the other but I can definetly tell a difference between them.
I find that my pipe smoking is seasonal. I always gravitate toward my pipes every November or so. The "season" seems to last until Febuary, when I will reach for my cigars again. During the pipe seasons I tend to buy pipes and tobacco in excess. This year I kept it down to only about 7...
I think I am going to have to pull one of these out tonight. Last one I had was over a year ago. It was wonderful as I recall. I will probably reach for one of my '05's since I have the most from that year.
Just had a 22 oz Coney Island Sword Swallower Steel Hop Lager. I enjoyed it much. Very hoppy!! :D
Now I'm going to have some Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is my favorite!!
I love this cigar!! It was the 1st non flavored cigar I ever had. Wow! I have never had another flavored cigar since that day. I find them to have a slight peanutty flavor. A standard in my smoking line up for sure.
