update: actually found a box of said Macanudos, complete with the Seleccion banding, in a different shop. it's got Sunset Corona embossed into the end of the box... further online research for a source shall ensue....
Anyone have any thoughts on, orexperience with, a room sized smoke eater that won't break my bank balance? That temp in the sign in my picture happens more than a few times a year here. It's winter from Oct thru May and being outside for an hour or so at -25 to enjoy a smoke isn't really...
a bit of insight.... tonite's offering is a Macanudo colorado 5.5x50 robusto. or so it says. notice the odd seleccion band and its striking similarity to the one on the CAO i had in last nite's post.... my thoughts are ol' boy at the local tabak shoppe got ahold of a cheapy sampler...
i've no idea truthfully.... i perused their website and ran several iterations of the branding thru the intertoobs... came up with nothing that matched up as far as the seleccion part anyway. which is a shame, cause it's a damn nice stick. i'd like to find a few more at less than...
tonight it's a CAO Gold (i think) Seleccion robusto. can't find it on their website tho, and there's nothing about this version i can dig up. no matter. it's pretty flippin' nice! no pairing unfortunately...i'm on call for work the rest of the week.....
