I'll agree with Wilkey on the Exquisito. As he so eloquently stated: "for their density of flavor". Even without long term aging I enjoy the Exquisito. I don't know about long term aging but I hear they get even (way?) better.

Martin,
Moochers are a special breed in my book. This contest has nothing to do with moochers. If someone doesn't guess correctly and/or follow the rules soon...I may have to up the stakes.

Hello All !!!
As seems to be the custom, I am offerring a small contest to mark my one year anniversary and 100th post here at Cigar Pass. I also just got into the Newbie Sampler Deal and will hopefully join a pass before too long.
The prize: My congratulations and a fiver of cigars I have...
Better small than nothing at all !!!
Don't let these guys yank your chain LOL. Even if you start with a 500-ct something-a-dor or other you will still run out of room eventually.
Cheers,
antaean
Even for pay just won't do it!!! Besides, I don't think I could finish even if I were to be paid. Ugh.
True heroes are still waiting to be found.
Cheers,

Well, the weekly special editorial at JR sure sounds like they are at it again:
"With all the new items coming out each year, and the possibility of Havana cigars being around the corner, JR just has to "lighten up" on the varieties of packings we carry that involve the exact same cigars... and...
BBS,
I like your categories better than mine. Under mooches there is also one that will light the head and smoke from the foot "because everyone knows cutters are a waste of time". LOL

For me, there are different categories of "moochers".
Friends/BOTL's at work: Not the guys who smoke regularly, but folks who cannot smoke at home for various reasons or are extremely light volume smokers. These people get to share excellent smokes from me which are usually something they have...
I have seen a few comments (not sure where) that one need not spend premium bucks for Montecristo (DR) cigars, presumeably because there are many smokes from the DR with the same flavor profile. Unfortunately, I have not found them yet!
Can anyone point out a fairly close substitute for the...
You mean there are cigars for sale here? LOL.
Never had any 5 Vegas anything....apparently they put people into really bad moods, so I for one won't be trying these anytime soon!!!

These are pretty good if you are talking about the 42 ring gauge, hand made models. 3 to 4 years of age in the tubes seems to result in a pretty mellow smoke. Fairly clean tobacco taste with slight hints of floral/herbal, and for me, there is an almost sugar cane type of sweetness on the exhale...
