Just received some 07/08 PCC REs. All the bands appear to have more detail than regular bands especially the RA and Punchs. Anyone else experience this?

You don't have to fly to get them. I know somebody who will ship. Only problem is the price is $2900! Say what!

With the choices offered, I would go with the Mag 46 and PSD4. Always liked both since the first time I tried them.

Not sure about "non-internet" prices. I would say a fair price is around $200-250 a box. A couple dollars more per single if buying singles.

Both the Genios and Magicos have a 52" ring gauge, the former being 5-1/2" long and the latter 4-1/2" long. My opinion on the cost for a box of 25 are as follows: Genios - starting at around $350 (can easily add up to another $100 or so depending on the source) Magicos - starting at around $325...

Thanks jepe. I wasn't 100% sure if it was against the rules, but could be. Reason is, original post listed prices and a site that lists vendors with their prices. Pretty easy to piece it together and determine which vendor you use. Just better to be conservative IMHO. Agree with you on knowing...

Tried one a couple months ago, along with H.U Mag 50, and I enjoyed it very much. I would consider a box, but went with the 50s.

I would only add make sure the boxes have equibrated to the humidity. If the boxes are dry and you add your cigars and close the boxes, the cigars could dry out before the whole "package" equilibrates. I always store in boxes in my collidor, lids closed. If I add an empty box, I open the lid and...

Never tried this, just throwing it out there. If you're going to wipe/wet the wood further, could you consider a baking soda solution? This may help eliminate the odor. Just a thought.

Well got my answer on fresh Mag 46s. Tried one today from a box of PBS MAR 08 and it was fantastic. I lit this up during the Giants/Eagles game.

I would try lightly sanding the inside to see if that helps.
