    H. Upmann Magnum 46

I've had a few from a box of May 05 and mine are definately not ready. The first half is great then at midpoint they taste green and wet, burn poorly and so on..really weird, this sick period stuff.

    Recommend me a Bolivar

The corona gigantes is the churchill size (I think)..I found it more refined than the BBF. I'd recommend the immensa, since I believe you like the dalia size.

    My first Bolivar

Hey Wilkey..how much age do you think the BBF needs before smoking? I have a very young box, I'm thinking to start smoking them once they've got a couple years on them.

Scotch pairing with Partagas 8-9-8, asap

Well I ended up having a shot of each (4) with the party...started with the Macallan, then the Caol, then Talisker and finally the Lagavulin by the time I was near the nub..all were fanastic but I liked the Lagavulin best, followed by the Macallan. We'll see if my tastes change as I get through...

    Prometheus Chateau Fuente BBMF

As for leaving them in the tubes, this was discussed here before and I don't think there was a consensus decision on this..I'd recommend popping the cap off and leaving em in the tube.

one of my faves...can't understand when people say these are over-rated? But then again, the higher price tends to raise expectations.

    Bolivar Coronas

As far as caps go, I was looking at boli pics on some of the reputable dealers here, and while I couldn't make out a triple cap or not, they did have rounded caps.

    Pick a size...

I thought you were trying to decide which HDM box to purchase. My choice would be the epi 1, but if I only had 30-40 mins to smoke nothing wrong with the petit robusto.

    Pick a size...

Not so much a preference...the petit robusto would be smoked in about 20 mins less, it's a nice cigar for driving or whenever time is tight (which is often). A robusto vs corona gorda are more comparable.
