I guess it would actually be Wood or man made material humidors (plastic, acrylics, etc...)?
If you look in the past threads, or maybe you've even read it I posted a thread titled "File-a-dor" Its been quite a while and I've noticed that this thing is fantastic.
I live in Upstate NY and the...
Arrived today are tins of Drew Estate Cherry Heirloom, Drew Estate Central Park Stroll, Drew Estate Grand Central and Sutliff Field Master. All I know is, if the Sutliff (english) tastes like or the smoke smells like it does in it's current form it may not be for me. I'm going to give it a few...
Finally did it 2 weeks ago. Purchased a pipe (cheap briar from the local B&M) and some of their "Adirondack Vanilla" (aromatic). Forgot how much I enjoyed it. Maybe a little too much. Just got done with my pipe a little a while ago. Looking into getting another pipe in the same range as the...
What does one look for when buying a pipe? I'm thinking I'll be making a purchase in May and many of those pipe manufacturers you mentioned come up in my price range ($50 or less). My question is more related to size, materials and shape. Of course there is always a personal side to selection...
We just got the Calgary Flames ECHL by me. Unfortunately the AHL Adirondack Flames swapped with th ECHL team. Which is kind of a shame since I used to have 2-3 chances a season to see the Sabres AHL Afilliate Rochester Americans either at Adirondack or Albany. Still haven't gone to an ECHL game...
It did have a plastic smell. I used baking soda and water. I made a slightly thinner than paste mix (just enough that it stays on the side) and rinsed it out after 10-15 minutes. After that I just let it air out for a few days. Voila, no more plastic smell
Thank you for the info. I may have to look into that. Unfortunately it'd have to be battery powered or not at all as my fileador sits in my closet which isn't near an outlet and there is nowhere else to move it as I live in a 2br 800 sq/ft apartment and have to keep it out of site of my almost 4...
I'm with you on the hockey fandom. I don't get to watch nearly as much as I'd like so I pretty just keep it to Sabres games since my 2nd job keeps me from being home most nights my wife wouldn't be too pleased if I spent all my free time watching hockey however I got my almost 4 year old doing...
I am a Buffalo Sabres Fan. Wasn't really into hockey until I went to University at Buffalo and got hooked, BIG TIME.
Personally I am just happy we [the fans] aren't praying for losses!
I'm thinking the Sabres will miss the playoffs but we're in a rebuild and have a roster that actually looks...
Thank you. I haven't quite hit the point in my life where I can drop the big bucks (only 27) so I've been fortunate to find many cigars to my liking within my preferred price range of $4.00-$8.00 per stick.
What I didn't mention was that this thing has been rock solid at 65% and maintenance free.
I really have to keep an eye on my savoy this time of year and have to go about the business of keeping a shot glass of distilled in it to maintain 65%
It's been about 6 months since I built my "File-a-dor"
I know when I first was looking into building a new storage unit for my cigars I was searching high and low for the "right way" to make it. All the information pointed to cooler-dor (too big for my needs) or tupper-dor.
Based on my storage...
