    Yuengling Reviews

When I used to live in NC I drank yuengling on draft reguarly. Has anyone noticed that it is different out of the bottle? Green bottles arent good for beers that travel long distances and are exposed to light, but everytime I drink one out of the bottle it has the slightest "green bottle" taste...

Cohiba Siglo IIs or Trinidad Coloniales?

I would say Trini's just because I am one of those people who dont enjoy the Cohiba taste on a regular basis.

Oh how a year changes things...

Even though its not a great beer, killians or newcastle were my two gateway beers. I still enjoy both on occasion but my tastes have def. changed over the years. I am not very picky though. I cant say that there are certain beers that I must have. I figure I havent had everything yet so I often...

    What are you brewing?

I like that wheat recipe. Some of my fav beers are using simple 2-row / wheat with different amounts of crystal. I used to make a Pale Ale with 2row and crystal 60L and all that would change from brew to brew was the hop schedule.

    Shaving Porn

I've always considered going this route too. I am the type that doesnt need to shave all that often (3x a week) and was told with a good straight razor shave I could go almost all week without anything growing back. Have any good sites for researching this kind of stuff?

Anyone have aged DPG JJ Maddies?

I guess what really suprised me was that the spice didnt blend into the cigar with age which is what I expected. Instead the spice came way out and the rest of the cigar blended together to give a very unique backend taste.

Anyone have aged DPG JJ Maddies?

CI had a deal on the Don Pepin Serie JJ Maduros in August of 08'. They were 10 packs for $30. This was right before I was shipped off to Iraq to play in the dessert so I bought 3 10-packs and put them away in the humidor. The other day I figured I would pull one out and see how almost 17 months...

Going to give homebrewing a try

exactly: When a beer is chilled for drinking, these proteins partially precipitate forming a haze. As the beer warms up, the proteins re-dissolve. Only by rapid chilling from near-boiling to room temperature will the Cold Break proteins permanently precipitate and not cause Chill Haze. Chill...
